THERE is really nothing wrong if China wants the Philippine Government to investigate the deaths of Chinese citizens in Philippine territory. That is very well its right. They can urge the government to look for the perpetrators of crimes.
However, what I find disgusting is if the Philippines tries mighty hard tooth and nail, unleashing all its resources to catch the murderers of Chinese nationals, and yet on the other hand, just leave our citizens alone when it comes to murders of farmers and innocent civilians who have become casualties in the brutal war against illegal drugs.
It seems like all the government’s actions these days confirm my belief that it is through Chinese resources that people in power now were being thrust into their positions through the help of China.
Look at how our officials defend and justify with all their might any act of Chinese indiscretion in Philippine soil. Remember that Chinese trawler that struck a fisherman’s boat wth Filipinos in them? Remember how government reacted? Disgusting.
