Leyte’s most wanted arrested in Lapu-Lapu City

A RANK number seven most wanted person in San Isidro, Leyte was nabbed in a joint police operation in Lapu-Lapu City Friday, August 16.

Authorities said they arrested Alberto Dapitan, 60, laborer and a resident of San Isidro, by virtue of warrants of arrest for attempted murder docketed under CC Nos. CN-12-684 and CN-12-685 issued by Hon. Constantino Esber, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC)-8, Branch 11 in Calubian, Leyte.

The warrants were issued on March 14, 2012 and April 25, 2017.

Recommended bail was set at P120,000 each.

The suspect was arrested at around 12:55 p.m. at Sitio Gesi, Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu by elements of San Isidro Municipal Police and Leyte Provincial Police Office led by Captain Salvador Apacible Jr, in coordination with Police Station 2 of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
