Break-in at PPCRV lawyer's office reported (3:47 p.m.)

MANILA -- House Speaker Prospero Nograles reported Friday that Philippine Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) lawyer Howard Calleja's office had a break-in Thursday night.

In a text message, Nograles said: "PPCRV Howard Calleja had a break-in at his office last night. Nobody was in the office but (they are) still checking with security of Tektite in making inventory of files."

Investigation is ongoing to check if files have been taken.

Earlier this week, PPCRV alleged that there are about 40,000 duplicate voters in Davao City. Almost 1,000 are meanwhile alleged to be zombie voters.

One of the alleged multiple registrants is religious leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who is also courted by presidential candidates for his support.
