THE Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has appointed Bunny Pages as its presidential assistant for government relations.

A first in CCCI’s history, the post was created to give focus on its publicity strategies and campaigns and to boost its relationship with the government.

Pages, chairman and chief executive officer of Pages Holdings Inc. (PHI), has been an active member of the chamber’s board of trustees who’s dealt with several matters pertaining to government.

He used to envision himself to be in politics if he had not ventured into business.

“I have this strong sense of civic service. But I never succumbed to the temptation and I don’t think I ever will,” Pages said.

Before he entered business, Pages, who is an engineering graduate, was a corporate guy for more than 25 years.

He founded PHI, which now manages various food brands including Lantaw Native Restaurant, Mooon Café, Thirsty Fresh Fruit Juices and Shakes, House of Lechon, Shaka and Café Racer, among others.

Awarded as the 2015 CCCI Entrepreneur of the Year, Pages continues to embody his motto, “Be curious, not suspicious,” leading him to secure his spot in being recognized by the business world as one of its best. (CSL)
