TWO police officers were wounded in a grenade explosion in Taguig City early Wednesday morning, August 21.

Executive Master Sergeant Santiago Cordova and Corporal Alnajim Abdulhalim were conducting anti-criminality operations in New Lower Bicutan around 1 a.m. when they spotted a suspicious looking man.

When they approached the man, they found he was carrying three hand grenades and a firearm.

The man resisted arrest, fired at the officers and threw a grenade at them.
