TWENTY-ONE events are entered in the Mayor Rody and Vice Mayor Inday Sara Duterte 73rd Araw ng Dabaw Sports Festival that will have the Araw ng Tugbok football competition kicking off today at the Mintal Central Elementary School grounds.
The duckpin bowling tournament organized by the Davao City Bowlers Association (Daciba) is ongoing at the Dover Mega Lanes.
The billiards open event is slated March 9 to 13 at the JL Billiard Hall in Bankerohan while the commercial basketball tournament, which will feature out-of-town teams, gets underway on March 11 to 16 at the Almendras Gym.
The tenpin event by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) will roll off on March 12 to 14 at the NCCC Mall B3 Center, dama on March 12 to 14 at Osmena Park dama center, athletics on March 13 and 14 at the UM Matina campus and open football on March 13 at Tionko grounds.
Of the events, only schedules for arnis and dancesport have yet to be finalized.
The annual sporting events are held in coordination with the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office. (MLSA)
