MORE than 350 residents of Barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City benefited from the "Libreng Serbisyo Para sa Tanan" outreach program initated by Mayor Junard "Ahong" Chan at the Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium on Friday, August 23, 2019.
The beneficiaries of the one-stop program, particularly senior citizens, persons with disabilities and solo parents, were able to avail of free medical services, dental services and medicine.
The community also took part in a drug awareness seminar, an environmental management seminar and a livelihood skills and training seminar.
Haircuts and facial services were also offered during the outreach program.
Chan, through his office and the City Health Office, started the "Libreng Serbisyo Para Sa Tanan," in the island of Olango, Lapu-lapu City last week, which served more than 200 individuals.
Chan said that more outreach activities will be implemented in Lapu-Lapu City as he wants to bring health services closer to the doorsteps of his constituents. (PR)
