Mabalacat LGU offers online job training

THE Mabalacat City government is offering free training on home-based online jobs.

The program is open to out of school youth, persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, solo parents, indigenous people (IPs), and members of marginalized sectors.

The city government’s Management Information Systems Office (Miso) launched the program dubbed “Online Freelance Skills Training in cooperation with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Metro Clark ICT Council.

The city’s MISO stated that the free training will give residents in Mabalacat opportunity.

“This is a free training that will give opportunity to those who are having hard time looking for a job and those who cannot be hired because of certain reasons,” the Miso added.

Participants are expected to learn numerous techniques on how to earn through digital works.

“The training will give them an edge on the freelancing industry,” the information office said.

The city government urged interested individuals to attend the orientation on September 3, 2019 at the Jade Hall, Xevera Complex, in Barangay Tabun from 1 to 5 p.m.
