NAGSUGWAK sa kadaghan sa mga tawo ang ‘Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2019’ nga gipahigayon sa Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) diin ang 44 ka contigents gikan sa kalungsoran ug mga dakbayan sa lalawigan ang nagtigi sa kanindot sa pasundayag sa ilang festival kagahapon, Dominggo, Agusto 25.

Gibanabana sa Provincial Command Center sa Cebu Provincial Police Office (CCPO) sa CCSC, ang mga tawo nga nasulod sa complex moabot og 18,000 ug ang naa sa gawas moabot og 13,000.

Nasayran nga ang kapasidad sa grandstand sa CCSC moabot lang og 12 mil ug gikataho nga wa na kini pasudli pasado alas 7:00 sa gabii.

“As of 7 p.m, the situation was very peaceful and there were no reported crimes or whatever,” matod ni CPPO Director Roderick Mariano sa SunStar Cebu pinaagi sa telepono.

Samtang, si Police Major Clark Ariola, acting information officer sa Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), niingon nga hangtod sa alas 6:30 sa gabii kagahapon, Dominggo, Agusto 25, wala sila nasikop nga nakalapas sa anti-drunkenness ordinance nga gipatuman sa maong adlaw.

“Our communication with the community is good and we’ve been doing this since Sinulog times and also we have hosted international events in Cebu already, so the Cebuanos are already aware of the rules and are cooperative already,” matod ni Ariola sa SunStar Cebu. (WBS)
