KAPUSO star Iwa Moto admitted that she is not yet ready to settle down but said she is happy with her non-showbiz boyfriend Mickey Ablan.
In a television interview with Iwa, she confirmed that she and Mickey are not only lovers but business partners as well.
The two recently franchised a nail salon, which Iwa said, is a good way to invest her hard earned money.
“Paano ako, yung future ko, paano pag dating ng panahon na wala na akong trabaho, ano gagawin ko. Kailangan ko ng fall back, kailangan ko ng business. Nagkataon na madaling kausap na kausap si mickey at masarap na maging business partner,” she said.
The actress added that it was Mickey's mom who really helped them in closing the deal with their current business venture. “Sobrang thankful nga kami kay Mommy kasi sya yung nagasikaso lahat."
Iwa said she is very close to her boyfriend’s family. She treats his mom as her second mother.
Mickey echoed this, saying the young actress and his mom shares a bond together.
Supportive boyfriend
Aside from opening a new business, Iwa is very thankful for having an open-minded and very supportive boyfriend.
According to her, Mickey is giving her his all out support especially when she did another sexy photo shoot with a men's magazine.
Kapuso talent said to date, this is her most daring shoot ever and the readers will be surprised with what she happily shared.
“Tuwang tuwa sya (Mickey) habang nanonood tapos taga-cover ko pa saya.”
Mickey said he went to Iwa's photoshoot to help her with her things and to be her bodyguard at the same time.
Though no plans yet for the two to settle down, Mickey professed his love for her. "Oo naman, sobrang love na love,” he said.
Iwa, together with Kapamilya star Bangs Garcia, are the cover girls of For Him Magazine (FHM) March 2010 issue.
News circulated that the actress initially didn't want to share the cover page with Bangs.
“Friend ko kaya si Bangs, walang ganun, walang issue. Friend ko po sya and nakasama ko po sya sa work before and never ako nagsabi ng anything bad about her,” she clears.
