A MAN died after allegedly stabbing two brothers in Sitio Mansilang, Barangay Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City on August 25.
The fatality was identified as Antonio Lobaton, 33, a laborer of Barangay Sicaba, Cadiz City, while the suspect was identified as Ronilo Dela Cruz, 42.
The Cadiz City Police Station reported that Joren Dela Cruz and his brother, Romal Dela Cruz, were stabbed by Lobaton, who was allegedly under the influence of liquor.
Ronilo, brother of the victims, responded upon seeing that his brothers were being stabbed.
Ronilo struck Lobaton with a piece of bamboo pole several times.
Lobaton was rushed to Cadiz City Emergency Clinic, but was declared dead on arrival. He was brought to the Beniabon Funeral Parlor.
Ronilo voluntarily surrendered to the responding police officer.
