'Jenny' re-intensifies, to exit PAR Wednesday

"JENNY" has re-intensified into a tropical storm while moving west northwest over the West Philippine Sea, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Based on the advisory of Pagasa, Jenny is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) Wednesday morning or afternoon.

At 10 a.m. Wednesday, the center of Jenny was estimated at 305 kilometers west northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

Jenny has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gusts up to 80 kph. It is moving at 40 km/h.

Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains will be experienced over Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, Mindoro Provinces and Palawan brought by southwest monsoon.

Meanwhile, all tropical cyclone wind signals have been lifted. (SunStar Philippines)
