Go Hotels announces expansion, development



GO HOTELS Bacolod has welcomed its first guest in the month of July 2012 followed by the opening of Go Hotels Iloilo in December 2013.

These two properties remained the most sought after hotel in the vast-growing cities of Bacolod and Iloilo.

Both properties are connected to each of the city’s center favorite landmark, Robinson’s Place Mall.

The firm, in a statement, said it is also providing ease to its accessible location to various tourist destinations serving the travel needs of individuals, families, barkadas, and convention delegates both for leisure and business.

Go Hotels prides itself in providing hotel stay necessities with a truly Filipino service, it added.

Arthur Gindap, general manager and senior vice president of Robinson Hotels and Resort, said Go Hotels is a homegrown brand and we are very proud of it.

“It is our plan to have a Go Hotel in every major city in the Philippines,” he added.

Go Hotels today is the largest budget hotel chain in the Philippines with an inventory of 16 hotels and 2,471 rooms covering the cities of Bacolod, Butuan, Cubao-Quezon City, Dumaguete, Ermita-Manila, Iloilo, Iligan, Lanang-Davao, Mandaluyong, Manila Airport Road, North Edsa - Quezon City, Ortigas Center, Otis-Manila, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban and Timog – Quezon City.

Upcoming properties will be opening soon, notably in Naga City and Tuguegarao which are expected to open by 2020.

New properties in key cities are in the pipeline, expanding the network and hotel chain in the coming years.

To supplement the new plans for expansion, it is also refurbishing existing hotel branches for a more modern design and improved guest experience.

Go Hotels Mandaluyong, the first ever Go Hotels property will start renovations this month.

“Visitors can discover the charms and various attractions to a city by referring to tour packages offered by Go Hotels when they book their rooms,” the press release said.

The hotel chain currently runs a Rain Rain Go and Stay promo with rooms as low P1,188 in select destinations, it added. (PR)
