GIPIRMAHAN na sa Aboitiz business units inubanan sa Aboitiz Foundation ug sa Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) ang multi-million rehabilitation project nga naglangkub sa 150 ka ektarya sa Buhisan Watershed.
Gastuhan ang proyektong Cebu A-Park og P20 milyones nga molungtad og lima ka tuig.
Gawas sa reforestation sa 150 ka ektarya nga luna, aduna’y disaster risk reduction management and livelihood training alang sa people’s organization sa maong dapit.
Lakip sa lima ka tmga uig nga proyekto ang pagtukod og hiking trails, watch towers alang sa bird watching, natural fish spas ug butterfly sanctuary.
Kagahapon, Miyerkules, Agusto 28, gipirmahan nila ni Jose Antonio Aboitiz sa PBSP, Anton Mari Perdices sa Visayan Electric Company, Maribeth Marasigan sa Aboitiz Foundation ug Elvin Ivan Uy sa PBSP ang memorandum of agreement alang sa unang tuig sa lima ka tuig nga proyekto inubanan sa presensya sa kapitan ug opisyal sa Barangays Pamutan, Buhisan, Sapangdaku ug Toong.
Ang Cebu A-Park usa sa mga proyekto sa integrated corporate social responsibility (iCSR) nga inisyatibo sa Aboitiz business units sa Sugbo.
Ang samang grupo nakatukod na usab og nagkadaiyang A-Parks lukop nasod, diin kini nationwide effort aron magpabilin ang pag-amping sa kalikopan ug mamahimong eco-tourism hub. Alang sa unang tuig sa maong proyekto, kini gastuhan og P3.2 milyones.
“This project is only the beginning. With all of us starting on the same page, having the same destination and story ending, and agreeing to be measured in the same way, we will achieve more,” matod ni Marasigan.
Si Perdices, sa iyang bahin, nagkanayon nga 2020 unta ang target nila nga mapatuman ang nagkadaiyang A-Park sa nasod.
