Police nab 'pusher' in Leyte

POLICE arrested a drug suspect in an anti-narcotics operation in MacArthur, Leyte Wednesday, August 28.

The Drug Enforcement Unit of MacArthur Municipal Police Station led by Captain Jennifer Medalla arrested John Joseph Bitangcol, a resident of MacArthur, around 9:30 p.m. in Barangay Burabod, MacArthur.

Purchased from the suspect was one piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of substance believed to be shabu.

Also seized from Bitangcol were two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of "shabu" and P500 used as marked money.

A case has been prepared against the suspect. (SunStar Philippines)
