FIVE people, including a businessman, were arrested while some P30,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, police reported Friday.
Arrested were Amin Kaidar Amirul Sali, 36, a businessman; Balamin Sabturani Sangkula, 23; Reynard Lim Abuhassan, 19; Raymark Adli Borda, 19; and, Al-Aziz Monte Alto Majid, 24.
Police Major Elmer Solon, Police Station 11 chief, said they were arrested in a drug bust around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019, in the village of San Roque.
He said confiscated from the possession of the suspects were some P30,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in 14 different sizes of heat-sealed plastic sachets and P200 marked money.
He said the suspects were detained pending the filing of appropriate charges against them. (SunStar Philippines)
