CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Oscar David Albayalde, led the awarding of some personnel and units of the police force in the region on Friday, August 30, at the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Parade Grounds, Camp Captain Julian Olivas in celebration of the 118th Police Service Anniversary.
The awarding ceremony dubbed as “Pinaghusay na Serbisyo, Alay sa Sambayanang Pilipino” recognized the outstanding performance and achievements of police units and personnel in the region.
“With the positive gains we have in achieving in our campaign for peace and order these past few years, we indeed have reasons to celebrate,” said Albayalde
“Today, let us make the 118th Police Service Anniversary celebration even more meaningful by reaffirming our commitment to our police ideals, service, honor and justice, and by assuring our countrymen of better law enforcement and police service,” he added.
PRO-Central Luzon director Police Brigadier General Joel Napoleon Coronel and the Command Group assisted Albayalde in giving individual and unit awards.
Individual awards were given to the following:
Police Colonel Narvin N. Mangune received the Best Senior PCO for Administration award
Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLTCOL) Jean S. Fajardo for Best Senior PCO for Operations
PLTCOL Nixon M. Cayaban for Best Junior PCO for Operations
PLTCOL Alexie A. Desamito for Best Junior PCO for Operations
Police Chief Master Sergeant Rosevelt T. Galang for Best Senior PNCO for Administration.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Gilbert C. Tadeo for Best Senior PNCO for Operations
Police Staff Sergeant (PSSg) Reynald D. Parentela for Best Junior PNCO for Administration
PSSg Mhark Anthony R. Iral for Best Junior PNCO for Operations
Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) Arnold C. Adriosula for Best NUP (Supervisory Level)
NUP Armelin G. Saroca for Best NUP.
Meanwhile, eight other units were also bestowed with respective awards.
Albayalde thanked the men and women of PRO-Central Luzon for their unwavering support in his headship as PNP chief.
Moreover, he also reminded the officials that the core of their leadership is to serve and protect the Central Luzon community.
Governor Dennis Pineda graced the anniversary to show his support for the invaluable service given by the men in uniform for the province. (PR)
