THE Hotel Suppliers Show Mindanao, Print and Label Mindanao, Packaging and Plastics Mindanao, and Manufacturing Technology Mindanao have opened a new edition in Northern Mindanao, featuring four international expos in one grand event held at the Atrium of Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City last August 30 to September 1.
"The hospitality industry's growth in Mindanao is very promising. We have actually received a lot of requests from our partners and clients to bring the Hotel Suppliers Show in Mindanao. So this August, we are finally launching it in Cagayan de Oro," said Patrick Tan, CEO of Global-Link Exhibitions Specialist Inc.
"I am also proud to announce that we have fully sold the exhibit area to sought after brands in the hospitality sector in less than a month, this expo is really something," he added.
Eileen San Juan, City Investments and Promotions officer, for her part, boasted Cagayan de Oro City's performance in the business industry.
"Last year's registered businesses have shown that Northern Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro, registered one fourth of the total registered 900 billion registered businesses in the country. Cagayan de Oro is really coming out very strong," San Juan said.
"And I also would like to take note that the printing and packaging event is really a welcome here as we have more and more micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the city that we are really nurturing and developing. It's a help to our MSMEs and this is to showcase that they can easily connect with," she added.
Apart from the three-day expo, hospitality, manufacturing, packaging, plastics, and printing industries professionals and visitors were encouraged to participate and experience the product demonstrations, seminars and network with the top brands and companies.
Print and Label Mindanao, Packaging and Plastics Mindanao, and Manufacturing Technology Mindanao gathered all the latest industrial machinery and technologies of top companies in one grand event. The Atrium was filled with the most up-to-date hospitality sector products and services.
"It is a welcome to us, and we hope, to the organizers, that we will have more of this show in the city," San Juan said.
