NILAGDA ang Aboitiz Construction, Inc. (ACI) nilagda og Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) tali sa Austal Philippines Pty Ltd, pagpalig-on sa kapasidad sa iyang pag-bid sa Armed Forces of the Philippines sa paghimo og unom ka bag-ong offshore patrol vessels (OPV).

Ang MOA niila sa kompiyansa sa Austal Philippines sa pagdayong operasyon uban sa Aboitiz Construction human sa ilang malampusong desenyo, pagpalambo ug pagtukod sa unom ka assembly bays sa pagpalapad sa Austal sa shipbuilding facility sa Balamban, Cebu.

Ang bag-ong gipalapdan nga assembly bays maghatag sa OPVs sa pagpadayon sa ilang presensiya sa nasod.

Sa MOA, ang Austal niila sa Aboitiz Construction isip potential local subcontractor nga kalihokan sa pagpangandsam sa iyang bid.

Ang Aboitiz Construction nagtanyag sa iyang competitive advantage tungod sa operasyon sa fabrication shop tupad sa Austal shipyard diha sa Balamban economic zone sa West Cebu.
