GAME plan will play a big factor when Kevin Belingon meets Bibiano Fernandez in their fourth encounter in Japan next month.

Belingon will try to reclaim the ONE Championship bantamweight crown against Fernandez in the biggest event of Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotions that will feature two fight cards in day.

“Ang tinututukan naming ngayon yung game plan. Kung anong magandang i-develop at yung depensa sa ground,” Belingon said.

Belingon has been training alongside with his Team Lakay brothers as three others see action in the explosive fight card that includes Lito Adiwang, Honorio Banario, and Danny Kingad.

The former bantamweight champion added he is motivated and excited against Belingon who was disqualified in his first title defense after an alleged illegal strike to the back of the head of Fernandes.

Following the disqualification, ONE chief executive officer Chatri Sityodtong immediately ordered the rematch of both fighters.

Belingon added with their fourth encounter, he believes he has already familiarized himself of Bibiano’s fighting style and optimistic he has the formula solve the Brazilian champion in their title match.

“Confident pa rin tayo pero kailangn mag ingat pag nasa loob ng cage,” added Belingon.

Aside from Belingon, Team Lakay is also crafting another plan for Kingad against Demetrious Johnson when they meet in the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Championship Final.

The Team Lakay fighter has earlier said he wanted this opportunity, and cannot wait to show that athletes from the East are a match for the best of their Western counterparts.

Adiwang, who was recently signed up after an impressive showing in ONE Warrior Series, will debut against Senzo Ikeda in a strawweight contest while Honorio Banario seeks redemption against former world champion Shinya Aoki in a lightweight clash.

Adiwang, meanwhile, made it to ONE securing a six digit contract recently after disposing three highly touted rivals winning two impressive knockouts in the MMA developmental league headed by Rich Franklin.

Banario, the inaugural ONE featherweight world champion, meanwhile, gets a shot at redemption as he takes on former lightweight champion Shinya Aoki.

ONE women’s atomweight world champion Angela Lee of Singapore will defend her title against ONE women’s strawweight world champion Xiong Jing Nan of China.

Two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang of Myanmar will defend his light heavyweight world title against ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera of the Philippines.

In the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix final, multiple-time lightweight world Champion Eddie Alvarez of the United States faces Turkish sensation Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev.

In the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix final, Giorgio Petrosyan of Italy battles Samy Sana of France for the inaugural ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title and a chance to take home the coveted US $1 million grand prize.
