TARTE Tartelette Clay Matte eyeshadow palette

Ninety-five percent of the time, I wear shimmer eyeshadows. However, I sported shimmery eyes for considerably fewer days last month as I was rediscovering my Tartelette eye palette, which contains 12 all-matte shadows. This has got to be the smoothest, most pigmented set of matte shadows I own. I find many matte eyeshadows to be weakly pigmented, chalky, and difficult to blend, which is why I don’t wear them much, but Tarte has X’d out all of those with this pretty palette of warm- and cool-toned pinks, browns and purples. I find the lighter eyeshadows are great for natural day looks when I’m pale (read: away from the beach) at this time of the year.

Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream

One of Missha’s most popular products of all time has had a cult following for years. I’ve had this in my “to try” stash for a while, and yet I only really started wearing this last month. The hype is so real with this BB cream. It has foundation-level coverage even with just a small amount, is a dream to apply, and blends into my skin undetected while evening out my skin tone. Plus, it has SPF42, which takes away my usual step of wearing at least SPF30 on my face everyday.

Maybelline Age Rewind concealer

I put this away for a while because I kind of destroyed the packaging by yanking off the sponge tip, which I found unhygienic. I’ve started appreciating it again though because it does give such high coverage with the tiniest dab. I really need good coverage on my eyes at this time of the year because my dark circles appear even darker than usual against pale skin, panda levels. I can only get away with no makeup if I cover my dark circles, and all of my makeup looks wrong when I don’t correct my dark circles, so a full coverage concealer that won’t cake on my under eyes is an absolute must for me.
