NAGAPAGAWAS og pahayag si Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano kalabot sa sunod-sunod nga pagpang-red tag sa mga indibidwal ug ning uwahi duha ka mga journalists sa dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro.
Matud ni Emano nga makapaapekto ang red-tagging sa katungod sa usa ka tao ug adunay seryosong implikasyon ngadto sa seguridad ug panglihok sa usa ka individwal o grupo nga gilambigit niini.
“I believe red tagging is an unfair practice, red tagging not only affects the freedom of those identities but may have serious implication on the security and movement of individuals and groups involved,” sulat pamahayag ni Emano.
Dugang niini nga ang usa ka tao inosente hangtod dili kini ma-prove ug dili tungod kay ang usa ka tao nagsuporta sa katungod sa katawhan ila na dayon gisuportahan ang walhong grupo.
“Just because a person or group advocates human rights, it does not mean that the support communist involvement. These are people whose passion for equal rights are strong and only wish for government to hear their sentiments and stand,” dugang niini.
