FORMER Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu standout Eric Gabrielle Tuadles stood out in his first game in the Universities and Colleges Basketball League Season 4 as he tallied 23 points to lead the Centro Escolar University Scorpions past Olivarez College Sea Lions, 89-69, last Thursday at the Olivarez College Gym in Parañaque.
The 18-year old Tuadles canned six three-pointers in the offensive outburst and comple mented his solid game with two assists and a steal.
Also playing well was another former Magis Eagles guard, Franz Diaz, who had a stellar all-around outing, producing 10 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals to help the Scorpions come back from an early 14-20 deficit.
Although Tuadles and Diaz are considered rookies, both aren’t necessarily inexperienced as they are already suiting up for CEU in the PBA D-League Aspirants and Foundation Cups. (JNP)
