ArthaLand scores double win in Japan International Property Awards

ArthaLand’s green office buildings have been adjudged winners in this years’ prestigious Japan International Property Awards (JIPA). ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower (ACPT), a premium grade office development in Bonifacio Global City, won Best Green Feature Development while Cebu Exchange, the largest green office building in the Philippines, was chosen Best Office High Rise Development. They bested several entries coming from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Australia and the Philippines.

ArthaLand executive vice president and treasurer Leonardo Po said: “We are extremely proud to receive these awards in light of Japan’s high and exacting standards, particularly when it comes to property development. Both projects are superbly designed and well-constructed. They will serve as beacons of quality and sustainability for the Philippine office market.”

Cebu Exchange is the only office development in Visayas and Mindanao to be on target to achieve dual green building certification from the United States Green Building Council’s Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and the Philippine Green Building Council’s Berde (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence) programs. On the other hand, ACPT achieved the highest ratings in green building rating standards, having obtained both Leed Platinum and Berde 5-star certification.

JIPA showcases Southeast Asia’s best developments from residential to commercial, recognizing top regional developers and their flagship projects that passed rigid Japanese standards of development excellence.

The Best Green Feature Development is awarded to developers whose sustainability and resource efficiency management efforts are seamlessly incorporated into their development. They offer beautiful landscape facilities and their green innovation sets them apart from the rest. The Best Office High Rise Development is awarded to developers whose space utilization make their development suitable for office space. The development efficiently uses space that blends perfectly with their design concept and offers facilities that enhance and help employees optimize their work experience. SPONSORED CONTENT
