DIRECTOR Bb. Joyce Bernal is ready and excited to do Kimi Dora 3.
Last week, actor Piolo Pascual, Bernal's co-producer, told the entertainment press that Spring Films is planning to do the final installment of the movie Kimi Dora.
In an interview, Bernal told Sun.Star that it was a unanimous decision to not push through with the usual movie sequel.
"Mag-skip kami ng Kimi Dora 2 kasi di ba usually hindi maganda yung sequel, medyo dangerous yun, so Kimi Dora 3 na agad kami," she said.
The known director also added that they wanted to do something different from Kimi Dora 1: Ang Kambal sa Kiyeme and they are hoping that the people will love the upcoming film.
"Sana mag-hit, sana kumita ulit kami para gawin namin yun Kimi Dora 2.5 basta wag lang yung 2," Bernal said.
According to her, only Eugene Domingo and Ariel Ureta are sure to be included in the second installment of the movie.
"Parang ang sigurado lang sa casting eh si Eugene (Domingo), si Ariel (Ureta)," she said.
Bernal added that they wanted to cast Sam Milby in the said film and they are planning to start the shooting last week of May.
Kimi Dora 3 is set to hit the big screen on September - the same play date with the Kimi Dora: Ang Kambal Sa Kiyeme.
Spring Films is set to do three movies this year - one of which will be for the Metro Manila Film Festival this December.

Bernal, who is a close friend of couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos, was also asked on the current health condition of Judy Ann.
"Nagkikita naman kami and okay naman sya. Nakakausap ko din si Ryan, magana naman syang kumain sya," she kids.
Bernal added: "Gustong gusto kong mabuntis si Juday. Ayokong i-pressure sya na mabuntis or something."
She also said that knowing Judy Ann, she will definitely just ignore the buzz right now.
"Kilala ko si Juday na hindi papatol sya sa mga issues. I-eenjoy na lang nya kung ano yun," Bernal said.
"Napaka-focused nya sa ngayon, sa lahat ng pwedeng mangyari this year and ang aim nya ngayon eh wag ma-stress," the director added. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
