AS ITS tagline goes, “Experience a higher level of luxury,” the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia promises to provide a taste of first class travel, offering only the best driving experience for both the driver and the passengers.

Late last month, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) launched not just one but three surprises: a triad of new variants for the all-new Hiace Super Grandia, namely, Elite, Leather and Fabric.

Completing TMP’s line-up for the Hiace, the new variants of the Super Grandia feature a more sophisticated look of the van, with upgrades in performance and safety, to boot. From the front grille down to the rear bumper, touches of chrome on the exterior add an air of elegance to the Super Grandia. The same flair is translated into the design and details on the inside.

Features exclusive to the Elite variant include power-sliding doors, illuminating interiors upon entry with adjustable colors, quilted leather power seats with ottoman and Nano-E air purifying technology. The rest of the variants also have thoughtful additions such as rear personal reading lamps and automatic climate control for utmost comfort of the passengers.

Equipped with a 1GD-FTV 2.8 Diesel A/T engine, the Super Grandia also delivers in fuel efficiency. Thanks to the McPherson Strut suspension and four-Link Coil Spring rear suspension, it also has better handling and stability.

With safety as a priority, the Hiace Super Grandia boasts a comprehensive set of safety features including an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control with Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Clearance and Back Sonars, Back Monitor, nine SRS airbags and Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) three-point seatbelts.

It is also worth noting that the Super Grandia Elite is the first variant in TMP’s official vehicle lineup with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), which reinforces the vehicle with additional features like the Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Automatic High Beam (AHB).

“The Hiace Super Grandia is a preferred van of companies in various industries, and is quite popular as a family vehicle. It has indeed become a symbol of comfort, convenience and durability,” said TMP president Satoru Suzuki in a press release.

Colors available are Luxury Pearl Toning, Black, Gray Metallic and White Pearl.

In Cebu, Toyota has dealerships in Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City and Talisay City. (Christian B. Quilo with PR)
