HAVING a long-standing interest in photography, talented photographer Leila Eydian finally launched her very own creative space, a multimedia art photography studio aptly named Baran Studio. In Persian, the word “baran” means rain, which Leila sees as a favor and a blessing from God.

“When it starts to rain, I am more inspired by my work as it gives me high energy. I love walking under the rain together with my husband and daughter, which is why I chose to give the studio the name Baran,” she shared.

Celebrated with pink stemmed roses handed out to every guest who walked through the doors on the day of the launch, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Zohreh Eydian, Hadi Eidian and Leila herself. To formally open the studio, welcoming remarks were made by Lorna Bondoc of YOVEO Digital, who had also successfully put this launch party together. Discount certificates for portrait sessions were given as well to three very lucky winners who were able to answer some multiple choice photography questions!

Capturing images for the past 10 years, Leila is currently an active member of the Cebu Images Camera Club. Focusing mainly on both art and lifestyle portraiture for infants, toddlers, weddings, food, real estate, to name a few, Leila graduated from the Azad University in Iran with a degree in psychology and food engineering. She is also licensed in both calligraphy and painting. Leila’s interest in fine arts led her to pursue her passion for photography and she very much enjoys the hard work with countless hours!

Baran Studio is located at OITC 2 Oakridge Business Park, A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City, Cebu.
