4. Meningococcemia breaking news

On August 30, messages and screenshots of a child dying of meningococcemia were being shared from one person to another. Many messaged SunStar Davao to verify if these messages were true. We reached out to Dr. Julinda Acosta, technical division chief of Davao City Health Office, to answer the queries of the public. She allayed the fears of the public and clarified the misinformation being spread online.
