Japanese students visit HAU

STUDENTS from various schools and universities in Japan visited a university in Angeles City, Pampanga as part of its exchange students program.

The Japanese exchange students were welcomed by the Holy Angel University's (HAU) Communicators' League (CL), the official student organization of the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Program.

The exchange program is in partnership with HAU's Office of International Affairs and the School of Arts and Sciences.

To welcome the foreign students, the HAU-CL prepared welcoming festivities and immersion activities for them. Some of the activities include a series of ice breakers and games.

At least two Japanese students were assigned to one officer of the league who joined and assisted them during the immersion activities.

HAU's BA in Communications Program boasts two studios that serve as training grounds for communication arts students. The foreign exchange students were taken to the Broadcasting Studio and the Angel Network 97.5: Always by Your Side radio station.

For the last leg of the immersion tour, the Japanese students were given the opportunity to engross themselves in the field of future media practitioners as they gave a hand at handling professional-grade cameras, tried on camera reporting and television-radio hosting. Guests were also exposed to the different areas of technical work that transpires in broadcasting media.
