POLICE arrested a drug convict after he allegedly raped his younger sister inside their house in Barangay Buhisan, Cebu City on Sunday night, Sept. 8, 2019.
The 26-year-old victim reported the incident to the Labangon Police Station.
According to her statement given to the police, she was asleep when the 27-year-old suspect violated her inside her room.
She pleaded with her brother not to continue his plan, but the latter continued doing the deed. Afterwards, the suspect went out of the room. The victim then rushed to the police station.
Labangon Police Station Chief Henrix Bancoleta said the suspect was convicted for illegal drugs, and the latter was recently released from jail.
The victim said she sensed her brother had ill intentions towards her. After his arrest, the suspect did not deny the allegation.
Bancoleta said the victim would undergo stress debriefing as she was traumatized by the incident. She was brought to the pink room of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for examination.
