8 most wanted persons in Benguet arrested

EIGHT most wanted persons in Benguet were collared by police from September 1 to 6 during an anti-criminality drive.

Police said the campaign resulted to the arrest of Alvin Fugnay Duyao, 35, driver, native and resident of Tublay, Benguet wanted for rape on September 2.

Also arrested on the same day for rape is Mario Salbias Belino, 63, fisherman, resident of Nueva Viscaya and Caryl Kis-ing Quirimo, 31, native of Zamboanga City and residing in La Trinidad for qualified theft.

On September 1, John Wayne Ducusin, 18, resident of Ambiong, La Trinidad was arrested for robbery with force upon things.

Nabbed on the same day were Nixon Nakigo Estong and Jeff Depaynos Sison, both residents of Bila, Bokod for Violation of PD 533 or Anti-Cattle Rustling Law of 1974.

Moreover, arrested for attempted murder is Levi Kuangey Placio, 38, farmer and resident of Comillas South, Cervantes, Ilocos Sur on Thursday.

On the following day, Denver Rimando Cando, 27, single, driver, a native and resident of Asin, Tuel, Tublay was arrested for violation of RA 7610 known as the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act” and unjust vexation.

And Albert Laruan Segundo, 30, married, farmer and resident of Bilis, Taloy Norte, Tuba, Benguet for Unjust Vexation.

Colonel Elmer Ragay, Benguet Provincial Police Office OIC provincial director, in a press release stated the arrest of the eight suspects is in line with the simultaneous police operation being conducted by the Philippine National Police in its fight against criminality. (Lauren Alimondo)
