Beautederm opens first mall kiosk

A BEAUTY store based in Pampanga opened its first mall kiosk on Wednesday, September 11.

With celebrity endorsers as guests, Beautederm Corporation opened its first mall-based kiosk at SM City Clark (SMCK).

Rhea Anicoche-Tan, chief executive officer of Beautederm, led the ribbon cutting ceremonies at the kiosk located at the mall's ground floor. Tan was joined by her husband businessman Sam Tan.

"SMCK has been known to be in the Top 5 of having the highest sales in the country, so we're very happy to finally have the opportunity to open a store here," CEO Tan said.

The kiosk at SMCK is Beautederm's 86th store.

Celebrity endorsers who joined the opening of the kiosk include EJ Falcon, Glydel Mercado, Tonton Gutierrez, Jestoni Alarcon and Maricel Morales.

Beautederm ambassadors Mariah Santos, Lance Tan, Isabel Lim, and Jana Roxas also joined the opening ceremonies.

CEO Tan said other SM branches in the country have also offered her to open a store in their malls.

Tan is set to open a Beautederm flagship store with endorser Marian Rivera-Dantes as guest at the Marquee Mall on September 18.

She is also set to open stores in other shopping malls including Robinsons and Vista Mall.

Existing Beautederm stores are at Newpoint Mall and Villa Angela in Angeles City, and at One North Mall under the name Majiche Complexion by Beautederm in Mabalacat City.

Beautederm started in 2009 when Tan decided to leave her job as vice president for marketing of a big appliance store in Angeles City.

She started with a P3,000 capital and after a decade has grown to 86 stores and counting, and thousands of resellers and distributors across the country and abroad.

Beautederm products are notified as safe by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company is also awarded by Superbrands which strengthens a brand's position, adds prestige and reassures consumers and suppliers that they are buying the best brand in its category.
