Suspect in killing of kindergarten student in Bulacan falls

AUTHORITIES arrested early Tuesday morning, September 17, the suspect in the killing of a five-year old kindergarten student in San Jose Del Monte (SJDM) in Bulacan.

Bulacan Police Provincial Office Director Chito Bersaluna said Eman Lambuhon, 24, a construction worker, was arrested in an entrapment operation in Barangay Sto. Cristo in SJDM after police received information that he agreed to meet his parents there.

Lambuhon was charged with murder but the case may be elevated to rape and homicide depending on the result of the autopsy on the child's body, police said.

Several witnesses earlier identified Lambuhon as the man who took Princess Angela Langomez, his neighbor’s daughter, around 3 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, from inside the victim’s house in Barangay Kaypian.

Langomez was killed after she was struck on the head with a hard object.

The mother of the victim said she believed that the suspect wanted to rape the child. (SunStar Philippines)
