Red Ribbon bakeshop now in Balingasag town

ONE of the country's popular bakeshops, Red Ribbon, has opened its first store in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental last Saturday, September 14.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the store, located at the ground level of Gaisano Capital Balingasag (GCB), was led by Mayor Alexis Quina along with the franchise owner engineer Leonardo Kang, Red Ribbon area manager Richard Magtibay, and group manager Noemi Lopez.

Magtibay said the establishment of a Red Ribbon branch in Balingasag allows them to reach more Filipinos across the country.

On the same day, Red Ribbon offered its customers novelty prizes, such as a free notebook for every P500 worth of purchase of Red Ribbon products, a free mug for every P300 worth of purchase of cakes, and a free ballpen for every P100 worth of purchase of other Red Ribbon products. The promo runs from September 14 until supplies last.

The opening of its store in Balingasag marks Red Ribbon's continuous expansion across the country to provide every Filipino a chance to taste its cakes, pastries, and other products.

Joel Sobrecaray, managing director of Red Ribbon, said residents and neighboring towns of Balingasag will now be able to enjoy Red Ribbon's products such as the Black Forest Cake, Triple Chocolate Roll, dedication cakes, and pastries like the Butter Mamon and Ensaimada.

"To the people of Balingasag, Red Ribbon is finally here to serve the people of Balingasag with a good quality food," Sobrecaray said.

To date, Red Ribbon Balingasag is the seventh branch franchised by Golden Lion Pastries -- Surigao Corporation.

Red Ribbon continues to further expand its commitment and dedication to make every moment sweeter.

The company is a Filipino-owned bakeshop with over 500 outlets across the country. (With report from Crystel Ann Perpetua)
