NOTHING is better than enjoying your cup of coffee in a cozy and relaxing place after a day of hustle and bustle.

Located in the Golden Glow Commercial Strip along PN Roa Macapagal Drive, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro, Coffee Space recently opened its doors to people who seek for a "space" where they can do their work outside their office at the same time relish the pleasure and taste of their favored java drink.

Established last August 10, Coffee Space is a cafe and co-working space ideal not only for the coffee lovers but also for professionals and students who want their tasks done over coffee in a comfy ambiance.

Socket outlets are installed in every corner of the café so that customers wouldn’t have to worry about getting their gadget's battery drained.

According to Kim Navarro and Joane Arellano, owners of Coffee Space, the cafe came into existence because they are a family of wine and coffee lovers. They love to gather in cafes and chill.

Apart from that, Navarro added that having her own coffee shop is one of her dreams.

Coffee Space assures customers that their coffee beans are locally produced in Northern Mindanao to support the coffee farmers of the region.

Their pastries are also made by local housewives and single moms to help them earn as well.

When asked about the interior design, Navarro, who used to work as a flight attendant, said the design is inspired by her travels in both local and foreign places.

She said it is not enough to have an instagrammable place but also to brew a good cup of coffee that keeps people to come back.

Coffee Space offers hot and cold coffee such as brewed, espresso, caramel macchiato, Americano, latte, matcha latte and cappuccino for a very affordable price ranging from P80 to 160.

You may also enjoy a sip of frappes and shakes such as: oreo, double chocolate, java chip, salted caramel, vanilla, matcha and mixed berry for only P160 to 175, including coffee specials such as the zombie, bulletproof and international coffees for only P160.

Aside from drinks they also serve pastries on the side such as chantily bar, banana cake, mango cream cake, espasol, ube mango biko, custard cake and peanut butter toast that are homemade.

They also have wines for people who want to enjoy the great ambiance, chill and relax after a long day of work.

Due to popular demand, Coffee Space offers their all-day breakfast to everyone, serving as early as eight in the morning and up until 10 in the evening. Best sellers are Longganisa, Humba, Bistek and Lemon buttered hungarian sausage.

They accept event bookings too. The café can accommodate events exclusive for 20 to 25 persons. For inquiries, you may contact them at 09177343420.

Coffee Space is a neighborhood café in Uptown. Opens daily at 8 in the morning until 12 midnight.
