IVAN Awid clinched two titles in separate Datba bowling tournaments at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center recently.
Awid topped the Tuesday bowlfest held Tuesday, September 17, by hitting a total of 581 pinfalls after three games. He received P600, while runner-up Jesrael Rule took home P300.
The feat came on the heels of Awid's winning the September 14 weekly competition, having garnered a total of 646 pinfalls in the three-game event organized by Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Awid, with a handicap of 20, bested Rod Tongo, whose handicap is 30, made 620 pinfalls. Awid and Tongo received P800 and P400, respectively.
Mike Aquiatan, meanwhile, emerged champion on September 10 by rolling 568 pins in three games followed by John Tamondong who amassed 549 pinfalls.
