WHEN he was just young as nine years old, he discovered that he knew how to imitate and dress like Hollywood celebrities like The Queen "B" Beyonce out of scrap and reusable materials.

He continued doing this and gradually improved his craft of impersonating other Hollywood celebrities and not just Beyonce.

He was then eventually featured on national television show for impersonating Lady Gaga in 2010 because he uploaded a video of him doing the "Telephone" by Lady Gaga. In this parody video of Lady Gaga, he used several scrap materials, like old CDs and even kitchenwares as his props.

He showed to the world how creative a Filipino can get.

In just a few weeks from the date of upload, his parody video garnered more than 300,000 views.

From then on, he never turned back.

Vinzon Leojay Booc, more popularly known as Lady Gagita, who hails from Bunawan, Davao City, is now a professional impersonator of Lady Gaga having regular shows in Metro Manila clubs, aside from the outside gigs where he also performs via request.

"Lady Gaga because it is by impersonating her that I found my niche," he said during an interview at SunStar Davao studio.

In 2014, he released a "Telephone" Parody Part 2 on YouTube and has earned 1.5 million views as of the present.

He admitted that it was by impersonating Lady Gaga that he was made famous because his facial features are similar with that of hers, that it makes it easier for him to copy Lady Gaga's makeup and style.

But he does not limit himself to impersonating only one personality or celebrity as he has already appeared as different "personalities" during his shows.

He already donned Aladdin and Jasmine of the movie Aladdin, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande to name a few.

He even impersonated Mader Sitang, Thailand's internet sensation and K-pop female group Momoland.

Booc already revealed that in every show he does, he wants to inspire the kids who also dream to be a successful performer someday.

He said impersonating for him is an art because he does not only impersonate to make money but he does it with dedication and passion. For him, everyone can impersonate as long as they do justice to their impersonation as impersonating is a combination of talent, skills, dedication, and passion.

Impersonating enables him to meet in person Hollywood A-list celebrities like Lady Gaga herself and Katy Perry.

He was also featured in Europe's regional Arts and Culture TV channel, Tracks Arte TV Europe, a TV magazine mostly shown in France and Germany and other European countries.

As of the moment, Lady Gaga is prepping up for his birthday show, "Monster Ball" on September 20, Friday at Level VIP Club in Quezon City.
