THE GreatMinds Leadership Academy (GLA) dominated the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School (DCPNHS), 107-54, in the Juniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association Season 9 basketball tournament at the University of Bohol Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night, September 18, 2019.
John Philip Ponla played like a man amongst boys as he compiled 28 points, nine rebounds, three assists, five steals and a blocked shot to tow GLA to the impressive win.
GLA did not take long to assert themselves in the game as they raced off to a 62-29 lead at halftime and never looked back.
In the Seniors division, the PMI Colleges bested the Mater Dei College, 99-91. Joemharie Enguito once again led the Navigators with 23 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals. (SunStar Cebu)
