CEBUANO wingman Reed Juntilla has found a new home in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League as he was traded from the Zamboanga-Family’s Brand Sardines to the Bataan Risers in exchange for former University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Mythical Five member, Alvin Pasaol.

The former University of the Visayas Baby Lancer standout and former PBA journeyman made his return to competitive basketball last season with the Zamboanga franchise and flourished, becoming an All Star and led the team to within a win away from reaching the south division finals.

Now at 8-8 and coming off a loss to Cebu, Zamboanga will try to right the ship behind the talented Pasaol, who was named to the Mythical Five of UAAP Season 81 while playing for the University of the East.

Juntilla meanwhile, will be reunited with Cebuanos Enrico Llanto and Bernie Bregondo, who was retained by the Risers after most of its players opted not to return. (SunStar Cebu)
