3 female Baguio cops help deliver baby

THREE policewomen of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) successfully assisted a mother in giving birth to her child after one of her children asked for assistance at the nearest police substation on September 17.

Based on a report from BCPO Police Station 4, Niel Isip reported that at 4 p.m., his mother was in labor inside their house at Marydith, Loakan Liwanag.

Acting on the information, Police Master Sargent Ednalyn Chiday together with Patrolwomen Noreen Grace Nabuye and Zayanalyn Tacay, who are both registered nurses, took their medical kit to immediately respond and accompanied Isip to their residence.

Nabuye and Tacay immediately assisted the boy’s mother, identified as Rogerrose Lubrin Isip, 38, married.

The mother successfully gave birth to a baby girl and was transported to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for medical treatment.
