Bank of Florida opens Guagua branch

A LOCAL bank opened its newest branch in Guagua town over the weekend.

Known for its support to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs), the Bank of Florida (BOF) opened a branch at Plaza Burgos in Guagua town on Friday, September 20.

Teresa David-Carlos, BOF president and chief executive officer, said BOF wants to bring its services closer to MSMEs in Guagua including deposits, withdrawals, and loans.

According to Carlos, they have new services including one-day clearing of checks and money transfer through the Pesonet platform.

Carlos also cited Guagua as one of the well-managed government units in Pampanga in terms of providing opportunities to MSMEs.

Aside from the new Guagua branch, Carlos said they are looking forward to opening more branches in Central Luzon including one in Balanga, Bataan in 2020.

BOF has 16 branches in Pampanga and another two outside the province: one in Capas, Tarlac, and the other in Pulilan, Bulacan.
