ANTI-ILLEGAL drug operatives on Tuesday, September 24, arrested a 16-year-old boy and one other for yielding nearly P400,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs in a drug bust in Barra, Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City.
The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU)-Northern Mindanao identified the suspects as 34-year-old Marlon Mondelo and a 16-year-old minor (name withheld).
Using a P1,000 drug bust money, police operatives bought a sachet containing suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and recovered three more sachets of shabu worth P382,160.
Police said Mondelo is considered a high-value target.
Authorities are also looking into the suspects’ involvement in the illegal drug trade.
The suspects are currently detained and will face drug charges.
