Espina: Fun learning this summer

THE regular classes will soon close. Graduates prepare for career opportunities.

The affluent get to travel with their family. A good number look for summer jobs, a common options in the US where malls and companies are manned by students, mostly having their practicum. For doting parents, summer means keeping their children busy to balance their leisure hours.

So fun learning, quite different from the formal classes in the schools, is popular.

For a great number of people since 1976, the Speechcom habit has been part of children’s enrichment learning in speech, reading skills, spelling and vocabulary; rethorics and public speaking; and songs and choreography. Once more, from April 14-24, children from all grade and high school levels will have quality time to hone their language competencies. The schedules have the morning sessions for the graders and pre-schoolers; while afternoons are for the high school sessions. Lessons are adapted to the age and grade levels. Interested parents may visit Speechcom at Rivergate, Gen. Maxilom Ave.
