ARE you up for a challenge?

I was looking for something new and interesting in the culinary scene in Davao City. By saying interesting, I mean an out-of-the-ordinary offering that goes beyond taste and plating.

Then, I learned about Out Of Nowhere’s Submarine Challenge. It’s a dining experience that goes extra!

The challenge, which was launched in August, dares diners to take a 16 inches-long submarine sandwich filled with chunks of Asian chicken and assorted fresh vegetables in five minutes.

This is perfect for adventurous diners and those who have good appetite. For those interested, just approach any of the restaurant’s staff, order the Submarine Sandwich at P330, and inform them of your intent to take on the challenge.

If you successfully finish eating the whole sandwich in five minutes, your meal will be free plus you’ll get a P500 worth of gift certificate from Out of Nowhere Kitchen. The good thing about this challenge, you are taking a big bite on a delicious food which makes the challenge worth it.

After taking the challenge, you can also try their new dishes on their menu: Spicy Korean Barbeque; Chicken Cheese Stick; Tuna Salad; and Beef Salpicao. For drinks and desserts, their new Amelia Tropicale; Chizu Tiramisu; OON Carrot Cake; and Strawberry and Mango Yogurt Slushies are also a must try.

But if you’re full after the submarine challenge, you can always come back and try their new offerings in any of their branches in Torres (Voyager St., Doña Vicenta Village); Matina; and SM Lanang Premier.
