GOVERNOR Eugenio Jose Lacson assured Thursday, September 26, that casuals whose contracts will end on September 30 will be rehired until December this year.
Lacson said that the budget has been in place for personnel services.
Meanwhile Lacson issued a memorandum to all provincial government officials, department and office heads and employees about the increase of travel rates.
In his Memorandum, Lacson stated that relative to the implementation of Executive Order 77, all local official travels covering the period September 16, 2019 onwards shall observe the prescribed rules and regulations and rates of expenses as prescribed therein.
For official travels within the province, capitol will adapt a rational ceiling of P800 for Daily Travel Expenses (DTE), Lacson said in the memo.
The P800 DTE is for overnight stay and P400 for day travel.
At present, DTE is only P200 for day and P300 for overnight. (TDE)
