Fire hits 'ancestral' house

A LATE morning fire destroyed an ancestral house in Sitio Kalubihan, Barangay Tabok, Mandaue City on Friday, September 27, 2019.

Firefighters stated that house destroyed by the fire was owned by Ngoa family and is currently under the care of Teodora Ngoa.

Personnel from the Mandaue City Fire Department immediately responded to the fire after receiving the alarm at 9:47 a.m.

The fire was eventually doused completely at 10:19 a.m.

Fire Investigator Edgar Vergara said the fire reportedly began after Jason Ngoa, a resident of the house, left it to eat breakfast outside.

Fortunately, no one was killed nor injured during the fire.

Fire investigators are still determining what caused the blaze.(FROM ANV OF SUPERBALITA CEBU)
