THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has retrieved three arrest warrants against the alleged drug queen, Guia Gomez Castro, who reportedly buys recycled illegal drugs from "ninja cops."

NCRPO Director Guillermo Eleazar said Friday, September 27, that Castro has a standing arrest warrant issued in 2002 for violation of Republic Act 6425 or the selling, delivery and distribution of illegal drugs.

She also has two other warrants of arrest issued in 2003 and 2011, both for issuing bouncing checks.

All the three warrants were issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, said Eleazar.

He said Castro, who is reportedly hiding abroad, can now be arrested once she arrives in the Philippines.

He said they are also checking if there is an extradition treaty in the country where Castro is hiding, so she can be forced to return to the Philippines.

"Sa ngayon na may warrant of arrest siya ay basis na natin yan. Kung ma-find out natin na meron pang iba, we will probably coordinate with first alamin natin kung nasaan talaga sya, kung ma find out natin at meron tayong extradition treaty, we will request her to be return her back here," said Eleazar.

He said based on their monitoring, Castro arrived in Manila from Vancouver, Canada on September 18 but she again departed Manila going to Bangkok, Thailand on September 21.

Eleazar made the revelation during a meeting with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, National Bureau of Investigation, Armed Forces of the Philippines Joint Task Force where they also created the quad-intelligence force that aims to monitor illegal drug personalities.

Eleazar said the NBI will also conduct financial investigation against Castro.

On Tuesday, September 24, Eleazar released a diagram showing the names of Castro and 16 ninja cops.

Of the ninja cops, Eleazar said nine were killed, two were retired, two were dismissed, two already went on absence without leave and one was detained.

The detained ninja cop was identified as Corporal Jolly Aliangan, who was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in an operation.

The diagram also includes Castro’s brother and cousin.

Eleazar said they will also look into the possibility that Castro was involved in the killing of ninja cops. (SunStar Philippines)
