THREE high-value drug personalities were arrested and a total of P4.5 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate operations in the cities of Talisay and Mandaue.
Franz Suaso, 18, Richard Cabras, 45, and Clark Jerome Arañas, 20, were all arrested in Barangay Linao, Talisay City, Cebu early Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.
The joint operation of the Cebu Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB), the Cebu Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7 seized two medium packs of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 650 grams worth P4,420,000.
Lt. Colonel Marlu Conag, PIB head, said both Suaso and Cabras, who hails from Alumnos, Basak, San Nicolas, were in the watch list as high-value targets in the provincial level.
The arrest was made possible based on the information given by the individuals previously arrested.
On the other hand, the Opao Police Station in Mandaue City, Cebu arrested Ace Tabada, 25, and a certain Janice Codilla, 34, in Barrio Luz, Cebu City, around 6:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
Codilla, a native of Samar, is believed to be Tabada’s courier. Tabada, on the other hand, was identifed as a high-value target.
Corporal Joseph Bacalla, of the Opao Police Station, said the two were arrested in a buy-bust.
Recovered from the two were 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P80,000, a Dangerous Drugs Board value. (WBS)
