13 collared for separate offense

THIRTEEN personalities were arrested in a one-day operation conducted by the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) for various cases.

On September 24, joint personnel of the BCPO Mobile Police Unit (BCPO-MPU) led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Johnson Smith Abellera, the Criminal Intelligence Unit(CIU) and Station 7 served the warrant of arrest to Julius Banatao, 37, of Mankayan, Benguet for robbery with multiple homicide with no recommended bail.

In Padre Burgos, Baguio City, joint operatives of BCPO Station 7 led by Police Major Marlo Evasco and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Management Unit (CIDMU) and Mobile Police Unit (MPU) arrested a certain “Ashley” for theft.

A 42–year–old woman was also collared in Camp 7 by virtue of a warrant of arrest docketed under Criminal Case Number 136912 for estafa with a recommended bail of P120,000.

Joint personnel of Station 8, led by Police Captain Francisco Ben of the Mobile Patrol Unit-BCPO and Police Colonel Johnson Abellera together with the Rosario Police Station arrested Tristan Pandico Jr., 29, and a resident of Rosario, La Union by virtue of a warrant of arrest for qualified theft with recommended bail of P62,000.

Members of the tracker team of BCPO Station 2 led by Police Major Joel Kindipan Dumar arrested Rex Cassilap Ramos, 38, from Tuguegarao, Cagayan and a resident of Bangar, La Union for a case of violation of PD 1602 through an arrest warrant issued by the courts.

Several others were collared by the BCPO for separate offenses who are now under the custody of the different units as police continue to intensify their anti-criminality drive.
