GAC Motors gained a share of the lead in the standings of the Duterte Basketball League Semi- Open Division as they handed Penthel their first loss of the competition, 66-60, at the Capitol Parish gym on Sunday, September 29, 2019.
Former Cebu Institute of Technology-University star Allan Dimco led GAC Motors to the crucial victory as he piled up 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Abi Galinato helped out with his 14 points.
GAC Motors and Penthel are now tied for the lead in the standings with their identical 3-1 win-loss records.
In the other game, Paragsa evened up their standing at 2-2 after they defeated NJEB Construction, 78-71. Jake Diamante and RG Rios provided solid numbers for Paragsa with 19 and 11 points, respectively.
